Recipe Introduction
I think I was in jr. high school when I saw this recipe in the news paper. I don't remember the details of it anymore. only the ingredients and how I have done it over the years.
When I took cooking in senior high school, we were told to bring a recipe that week so I brought this simple one. The teacher got very upset with me asking how I could think of wasting ingredients this way.......
List of Ingredients
-1 cup peanut butter (I always used crunchy)
-1 egg
-1 cup sugar.
yes that's it. no flour or anything else.
Recipe
-Put the egg in bowl first and beat it a little, then added the sugar and stir it up well and then add the peanut butter.
-Mix well.
-Roll into little balls maybe ping pong size and mashed criss cross style with the fork.....
-Bake I think about 325 degrees....(ovens have varied over the years ya know...)
-Don't bake too long (not more than 10-15 minutes) unless you like really crunchy cookies.
