    EZ Cheesy Mexican Chicken

    List of Ingredients




    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    4 skinned and boned chicken breast halves
    1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    1 4.5 ounce can diced green chilies
    1 cup 4 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    paprika optional



    Recipe



    Combine first four ingredients.
    Sprinkle evenly over chicken.
    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add chicken and cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
    Remove from heat.
    Top evenly with chilies and cheese.
    Cover and let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
    Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
    Makes 4 servings.
