1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. bacon drippings
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
Recipe
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in fat and add enough milk to make drop batter. On waxed paper, drop by the teaspoon until all batter is used. Add these at once into stew that is boiling. Cover kettle and let steam for 15 minutes.
Do not lift cover. Serves approximately 6.
