    MARY JO'S IRISH COFFEE

    List of Ingredients




    1 shot Irish whiskey
    1/2 to 1 tsp. brown sugar
    black coffee
    fresh whipped cream

    Recipe



    Pour whiskey into glass (long glasses with stems are best). Add
    brown sugar to taste; stir until dissolved. Pour in black coffee until
    it is about one-inch from rim of glass. Take a teaspoon, turn it over
    and pour whip cream over the back of the spoon, this way it slides
    onto the coffee and sits on top.
    Note: Only use fresh cream and whip it until it is thick enough to
    pour. "Enjoy and, as we say in Gaelic, 'Slainte!' which in English
    means Cheers!
