My granddaughters kiddos love salsa, but they were getting tired of the normal salsa. I know they love pineapple so I developed this Pineapple - Apple salsa for them.


List of Ingredients




1 can crushed pineapple with juice
2 med-large apples cored, pealed and diced fine
1-2 jalapenos seeded and diced fine
4-5 Tablespoons cilantro


Recipe



Peal and core 2 medium to large apples, dice into a small dice.

Seed and dice into small dice 1-2 jalapenos depending on preference for hotness.

Chop 4-5 Tablespoons cilantro, depending on taste.

In bowl:

combine, pineapples and apples mix well to so the apples will not start to oxidize.

add chopped and seeded jalapenos and cilantro

Let set a least 30 minutes for the flavors to develop.

You can add more or less of all ingredients to taste.
