    Basic Omelet

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 tsp. of salt
    • 1/4 tsp. of pepper
    • 1 tbs. of milk
    • 1 tbs. of butter


    1. Break eggs into a bowl, add salt, pepper and water
    2. Beat slightly with a fork, just enough to mix yolks and whites
    3. In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter and heat until foam begins
    4. Pour in egg mixture all at once, as edges begin to set lift with a spatula and shake or tilt the pan to let uncooked egg flow underneath
    5. When egg no longer flows, fold omelet in half and serve

    Final Comments

    Filled omelet
    Spoon any of the following down the center of the omelet have way through the cooking; shredded cheese, mushrooms,cooked bacon, ham, salami, bell peppers, onion, etc., or any combination of the above
