    Cantonese Roast Chicken

    List of Ingredients

    • 3 lb. chicken
    • 1 tsp. five spice
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. ginger
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1 tsp. garlic salt
    • Honey glazing sauce


    1. Mix all dry ingredients well

    2. Rub chicken in, out and under the skin with mixture

    3. Rub chicken all over with soy sauce

    4. Put chicken on a vertical rack

    5. Roast for 40 minutes in a 325 degree oven

    6. Take out and glaze with honey glaze sauce

    7. Put back in oven and braise for 10 minutes

    8. Cut chicken into pieces on the rack
