    Curt's Cream Cheese Bars

    1 egg -- separated
    2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 1/2 cups sugar -- divided
    2 8 oz pkgs crescent rolls
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350�F. Mix together egg yolk, cream cheese, vanilla, and 1 cup sugar. Stretch 1 package crescent rolls to fit 9x13 pan. Spread cheese mixture over rolls. Stretch the other package of rolls over mixture. Beat egg white until frothy and brush on rolls. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Sprinkle on top. Bake for 30 minutes.
