Tex-Mex Chile con Queso

List of Ingredients
◦ 1 cup grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese
◦ � cup Velveeta, cut into pieces
◦ � cup heavy cream
◦ 2 Tbsp chopped peeled yellow onion
◦ 2 Tbsp diced tomato
◦ 1 jalape�o, stemmed, seeded, and diced
◦ Tortilla chips, for serving
Recipe
Put cheddar and Velveeta in a medium pot. Set it over a pot of simmering water over medium heat and heat until cheese mixture is nearly melted.
Add cream and stir constantly with a wooden spoon until cheese mixture is hot and smooth, 3 to 5 minutes.
Transfer cheese mixture to a serving dish and sprinkle onions, tomatoes, and jalape�os on top. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
