Sausage and Bacon Gravy

◦ 1 pound ground sausage
◦ 4 slices thick-cut bacon
◦ � diced onion
◦ 2 cloves minced garlic
◦ 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
◦ 1 teaspoon salt
◦ 2 teaspoons black pepper
◦ 2 cups half-and-half
◦ 2 tablespoons butter
◦ 12 freshly baked biscuits
Recipe
In a large skillet, combine sausage, bacon, onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat, until sausage is browned and crumbles.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper; cook one minute, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in half-and-half. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened. Stir in butter.
Serve over freshly baked biscuits.
