    I was doing a web search for celebrity recipes and found quite a few recipes. This one is easy and tasty. (I used 14.5 oz cans which I take to be a #2)

    List of Ingredients

    3 pounds lean stewing beef, cut into 2 1/2 inch sqaures and 1 inch think
    1 No. 2 can diced carrots
    1 No. 2 can small onions
    1 No. 2 can tomatoes
    1 No. 2 can tiny peas
    1 No. 2 can potatoes
    1 No. 2 can small green beans (not French cut)
    1/2 can beef consomme
    4 tablespoons minute tapioca
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1/2 cup prepared bread crumbs
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 cup white wine
    1 1/2 tablespoons salt
    Freshly ground black pepper to taste


    1. Mix all ingredients together. Cook covered, six to seven hours, minimum, at 250 in oven.
