    Try this delicious berry pie to whet your appetite!
    Raspberries come in three varieties-- black, gold, and red. Red is most widely known. Since they are so perishable, use them quickly after you buy them. Store in a single layer in a covered plastic container in the refrigerator.

    Fresh raspberries contain 60 calories per cup, with 0 grams of fat, 1 gram of protein, 15 grams of carbohydrate, trace amount of fat, 1 milligram of sodium, and 8.6 grams of dietary fiber. A cup conains 4% of your daily requirement for Vitamin A, 50% of Vitamin C, 2% of calcium, and 6% of iron.

    Summer Berry Pie

    3/4 cup sugar
    3 Tablespoons cornstarch
    1-1/2 cups water
    1 package (4-serving size) gelatin, any red flavor
    1 cup blueberries
    1 cup raspberries
    1 cup strawberries, sliced
    1 prepared graham cracker crumb crust (6 ounces)
    2 cups thawed whipped topping


    Mix sugar and cornstarch in medium sauce pan. Gradually stir in water until smooth. Stirring constantly, Cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin until completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Stir in berries. Pour into crust.

    Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Top with whipped topping.

    Makes 8 servings.
