    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

I have never tried to freeze a pasta dish with shrimp in it.However, You can make baked ziti with just cheeses in it. Make the sauce, don't add any meat to it, and freeze just the pasta and cheese. That is something I do all the time. I used to make huge pans of it to send back to college with my DS when he lived in a campus apt. with 3 other guys.

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb ziti
    1 lb. ricotta cheese
    1 egg
    about 1 Tbsp.basil and/or oregano
    1 lb. mozzarella cheese
    grated Parmesan cheese
home made or bottled spaghetti sauce

    Recipe

Cook ziti according to package directions. Grate mozarella cheese. Add 1
egg and herbs to ricotta cheese. Mix all
ingredients together and pour into baking pan. Sprinkle extra mozzarella
on top and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to
    one hour.

If desired, meat can be added to the above, either 1 lb. ground beef,
meatballs, sausage or chunks of pepperoni. I make it
plain with an extra crockpot of homemade sauce filled with meatballs,
Italian sausage and/or chunks of pepperoni.

Of course, I always make my own sauce for this, and I think you have the recipe.
