    List of Ingredients


    • 1 clove garlic,pressed
    • 1 egg beaten
    • 1 tbsp. oil
    • 1 can (13 3/4) chicken broth
    • 4 scallions, diagonally sliced
    • 1 large carrot, disgonally sliced
    • 1 can (8oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
    • 2-3 tbsp. soy sauce
    • 2 tsp. brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    • 1 1/2 c. dry minute rice


    Instructions


    1. Saute Garlice and egg in oil, stirr constantly to scramble and break into pieces.
    2. Add chicken broth, scallions, carrot, water chestnuts soy sauce and brown sugar
    3. Bring to a boil
    4. Stir in rice.
    5. Cover and then remove from heat and let stand 5 min.
    6. Fluff with fork.
