    Recipe Introduction

    Susie Murphy of Moline, IL asked me to come up a spaghetti sauce for her husband. I created this while Tommy was home from college. He wanted the recipe to take back with him. So, you it's quick, easy and tasty when it passes the TTT. (Tommy Taste Test)
    Serves 4 (1 cup)

    List of Ingredients

    • 8oz ground turkey or beef (90% lean)
    • 1 3/4 cups tomato sauce with tomato bits
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1 can Campbell's Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom soup
    • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
    • 1 tablespoon Splenda
    • 2 cups cooked spaghetti
    • 3/4 oz grated Parmesan Cheese (1/4 cup)


    1. In a large skillet sprayed with olive flavored cooking spay, saute meat and onion. Add tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and Splenda. Blend in mushroom soup. Lower heat. Simmer 10 minutes. Stir in cooked spaghetti. Continue simmering 5 minutes. When serving, top each with 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese.

    HE: 2 Vegetable, 1 3/4 Protein, 1 Bread, 1/2 Slider, 3 Optional Calories
    266 Calories, 7gm Fat, 15gm Protein,
    36gm Carbohydrate, 975mg Sodium
    DIABETIC: 2 Meat, 2 Vegetable, 1 1/2 Starch
