    List of Ingredients

    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 cup ground beef
    • 2 teaspoons oil
    • 3 potatoes
    • 1 head cabbage, chopped
    • 1/4 cup cider vinegar


    1. Saute onion and ground beef in oil in iron skillet. Add potatoes. Cook until potatoes are partially cooked. Wash cabbage and drain slightly. Add to skillet. Cook until potatoes are tender. Stir in vinegar. Cook until flavors are blended. Serve from skillet. May substitute sausage or leftover roast or chicken for beef, adding cooked meats at the end of cooking time and omitting oil if using sausage. May use either red or green cabbage or vary amounts of meat and vegetables to suit your needs.
