    Coconut Pound Cake

    List of Ingredients




    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 cup vegetable shortening
    3 cups sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
    1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup milk
    1 can flaked coconut

    Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavorings and mix well. Alternately add flour and milk, beating after each addition. Stir in coconut. Spoon batter into 10-inch greased tube pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour and 15
    minutes.
