    Cheesy Salmon Patties

    List of Ingredients

    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can of pink salmon, drained
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 cup of buttermilk
    1/3 cup of self-rising flour
    3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
    Vegetable oil


    Remove the Skin and bones from the salmon.

    Flake with a fork.

    Add egg, buttermilk, flour and cheddar cheese, stirring well.

    Shape the salmon mixture into 6 patties.

    The mixture will be moist.

    Pour oil to a depth of 1/8-inch into a large heavy skillet.

    Cook the patties in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown,
    turning once.

    Serves 4 to 6.
