Chocolate Chip Cake
List of Ingredients
18-1/4 oz. pkg chocolate cake mix, 2-layer size
3-1/4 oz. pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
3/4 c. oil
8 oz. sour cream
1 c. water
1 c. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and powdered sugar.
Beat on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium to high speed 2 minutes. (Batter will be thick.)
Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
Pour batter into greased & floured 10" fluted tube pan. Bake for 1 hour or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes.
Remove and allow to finish cooling.
Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
