    List of Ingredients

    As easy as this one is to make, it's had its share of ribbons.

    Beat 3 eggs, set aside.

    Combine: 3/4 c flour
    1 c sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt.
    Add 1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. of broken walnuts
    Stir (This prevents the dates and nuts from sinking).
    Add eggs and mix well.


    Bake in a greased 9/13 cake pan for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned (don't overcook they'll lose their chewy texture).
    Allow to cool, cut into serving size pieces. Store in covered container (refrigerate if they are going to be around for several days).
