Baked Ham w/ Apples & Current Glaze
List of Ingredients
small (about 2-lb.) fully cooked ham
3/4 c. currant jelly
1/2 t. ground cloves
Cut ham crosswise into 3/8-inch thick slices without cutting all the way through. Place in baking pan. Pare, halve and core one apple. Cut into thin slices. Arrange between ham slices. Halve and core the other 2 apples, without paring. Cut into wedges. Arrange apple slices around ham. Melt jelly in small saucepan over very low heat. Add ground cloves. Brush jelly glaze over ham. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through and glazed. Baste after first 10 minutes. Serves 4 with leftovers.
