    Pork with Saurkraut

    List of Ingredients

    about 6 country style pork ribs
    2 T. oil
    1 onion, diced
    1 c. apple juice, divided
    2 lbs. sauerkraut, drained
    2 apples, diced
    2 t. brown sugar, packed
    salt and pepper to taste


    Brown pork in oil. Remove from pan.
    Cook onion in drippings until tender. Stir in 1/4 cup apple juice.

    In large covered roaster, combine onion, drippings, sauerkraut, apples, sugar and remaining apple juice. Tuck pork into kraut and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours, basting occasionally.
