Cherry Puff Pastries w/ Fudge Topping
List of Ingredients
8 oz. pkg. frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
3/4 c. cherry pie filling
8 t. fudge ice cream topping
2 T. chopped almonds
Unfold pastry onto lightly floured surface. Using a cookie cutter, cut pastry into 8 rounds. Place rounds onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes until golden. Cool and split rounds horizontally. Spoon cherry pie filling inside each round and replace tops. To serve, heat fudge topping until smooth and drizzle over rounds. Sprinkle with nuts and serve immediately. Serves 8.
TIP: Use appropriate shaped cookie cutters for various holidays... especially appropriate for Valentine's Day using a heart shaped cookie cutter.
