    No Cholesterol Vichyssoise

    1 1/2 lb. onions, sliced thin
    1 pkg Lipton soup mix
    1 can beef gravy
    Salt and pepper to taste
    French Bread
    Swiss cheese slices


    Prpare onion soup mix as directed. Saute onions until golden brown. Add onions, gravy to soup. Season
    to taste. Simmer one hour. Slice French bread and toast. Top with cheese. Heat
    soup to boiling point. Add Romano cheese. Top with French bread. Place under broiler
    until cheese becomes stringy.
