My aunt brought this cake to a family reunion in Texas and everyone requested the recipe!

3 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 tsp. Soda

� tsp. Cinnamon

� tsp. Nutmeg

� tsp. Salt

2 eggs, well-beaten

1 � cups vegetable oil

1 cup walnuts, chopped

3 cups capples, peeled and chopped (She used Winesap apples)



Recipe



Preheat oven to 350�.

Sift together the first six ingredients; make a well and add the eggs then remaining ingredients, mix well.. Pour into well-greased and floured 9� x 13� pan, bake for 60 to 75 minutes, or, until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
