    Mott's Applesauce A Better Way to Bake

    3 c unbleached flour
    1 1/2 c granulated sugar
    2 tsps ginger
    2 tbsps margarine, softened
    2 tsps allspice
    1/2 c sweetened applesauce
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 c molasses
    1/2 tsp salt

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375. Prepare two baking sheets with cooking spray and flour; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, ginger, allspice,baking soda, and salt; set aside. In another mixing bowl, combine sugar and margarine until blended. Fold in applesauce and molasses. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Mix well. Dough will be sticky.
    Place one ounce balls 1" apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
