    Ribbon Jello

    This is a favorite holiday side dish in our home. We've been making this for several years. My children still ask every Thanksgiving if I'm making the layered jello.
    I hope it becomes a family favorite for you as well.

    5 pkg. 3 oz. each, all different flavors Jell-O
    6 1/4 cups boiling water
    1 cup sour cream

    Recipe



    Dissolve one pkg. of gelatin in a 1 1/4 cups boiling water. Pour 3/4 cup into 8x8 glass baking dish or ring mold. Chill until set but not firm, about 15 minutes.

    Chill remain gelatin in bowl, gradually blend in 3 tablespoons of the sour cream and carefully spoon over gelatin in baking dish or mold. Chill until set but not firm, about 15 minutes. Repeat with remaining flavors, chilling dissolved gelatin before measuring and pouring into dish/mold. End with solid gelatin not sour cream mixture.

    Chill for at least 4 hours to set. Cut in squares or slices to serve.
