    Stuffed green peppers are a true favorite of mine. I have always enjoyed this great dish.

    List of Ingredients




    4 Large Green Peppers
    2 Large Tomatoes
    1 Pound Ground Beef
    2 Cups Toasted Bread Crumbs
    1 1/2 Cups Diced Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    1 Teaspoon Salt
    1 Teaspoon Pepper
    1 Teaspoon Sugar
    Butter

    Recipe



    Cut peppers in half and remove seeds. Wash peppers under cold water. Slightly boil peppers then drain. Chop tomatoes and dice cheese then mix with ground beef. Fill halves with mixture made from beef, tomatoes, bread crumbs, cheese and spices. Place peppers in buttered baking dish and add just a little water. Bake at 300 degrees until peppers are tender but not burned and the meat is done. Eight servings.
