    3/4 cup flour
    1 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup chopped dates
    1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
    3 eggs -- beaten

    Sift dry ingredients. Stir in dates, walnuts and eggs. Pour into greased and floured 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" jelly roll pan. Bake at 350F about 15 minutes. Cut into bars while warm.

    Cool; remove from pan. Roll in confectioner's sugar.
