Cheddar Apple Bread

• � cup shortning
  
• � cup sugar
  
• 1 egg
  
• 1 # 2 can apple pie filling
  
• 2 � cups softed all purpose flour
  
• 1 tsp. salt
  
• 1 tsp. soda
  
• 1 tsp. baking powder
  
• 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  
• � cup chopped nuts
  






Instructions



1. cream shortning and sugar
   
2. add egg, beat in apple pie filling
   
3. sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder
   
4. add to creamed mixture
   
5. add cheese and nuts
   
6. pour into well greased loaf pan
   
7. bake @ 350� for 1� hrs.
