List of Ingredients

1 C shortening
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 C sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 C flour


Recipe

Combine shortening, salt and vanilla. Add sugar and beaten eggs. Beat thoroughly. Add flour and mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on well greased cookie sheet. Let stand a few minutes then take a damp cloth over a glass and flatten each one. Bake in moderate oven 8-10 minutes.
