Frank-A-Roni Casserole

List of Ingredients
1 pkg. (7 oz.) elbow macaroni
1 Tbs butter
2 tbs finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
8 frankfurters
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheeseRecipe
Cook macaroni according to pkg directions; drain. In a small skillet, melt butter, saut� onion until tender. Stir in salt and garlic powder. Cut 7 hot dogs into 1/2" pieces reserving one for garnish. In large bowl combine macaroni, onion mixture, hot dogs, cottage cheese and sour cream, lightly mixing well. Turn into 2 qt. casserole. Cut reserved hot dog into thin slices crosswise, arrange in circle on top of casserole. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese inside ring of hot dog slices.
Bake at 350� for 30 minutes.
Makes 5-6 servings.
