List of Ingredients
3 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup bran
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped dried apples
1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts and/or almonds
1/4 cup brown sugar
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl, and mix well. Store in airtight containers.
If you prefer your oats toasted, place the rolled oats on a baking sheet in a 350 oven for about 15 minutes,
stirring from time to time.
You can substitute rolled wheat and/or rye flakes for oats.
Muesli can be served softened with yogurt and served with fresh fruit as they do in Switzerland, or served
Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
