A tried and true recipe with several variations. I have even had a gentleman come up to me in supermarket who had trouble finding ingredients his wife had sent him out to retrieve. I recognized the recipe immediately.
List of Ingredients
2 cans (28 oz) pork and beans, undrained
2 cans (15 oz) lima beans
2 cans (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained
1 small bottle catsup
2 T dry mustard
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. bacon, diced and fried (including grease)
Combine ingredients in bean pot. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
