    2 eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    6 slices day-old white or raisin bread
    Powdered sugar

    Recipe



    Heat griddle over medium heat or heat electric griddle to 375 degrees.
    Beat eggs, milk and salt in bowl with fork until blended.
    Grease the hot griddle with a thin layer of butter or margarine, using pastry brush.
    Dip slices of bread one at a time into the egg mixture.
    Cook the bread on the greased hot griddle until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
    Turn with pancake turner and cook about 4 minutes on the other side.
    Serve with powdered sugar.
