Apple Cornmeal Pudding

List of Ingredients
3 cups milk
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups brown sugar -- packed
2 cups cold milk
4 cups apples -- peeled, cored, cut
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Scald milk and whisk in corn meal. Cook 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the flame and add the cinnamon, salt, brown sugar, cold milk and apples. Mix to combine. Pour into a deep covered dish. Bake 4 hours. Serve with ice cream.
