New England Lobster Boil

4 medium potatoes -- washed and quartered
2 tablespoons salt
4 ears corn -- husked
4 lobsters -- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds each
Fill a 12-quart stockpot with 2 inches of water; add the potatoes and salt and bring to a rapid boil over high heat; continue boiling for 10 minutes. Add the corn and lobsters, then cover and steam for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the lobsters are bright red and the corn and potatoes are tender. Remove from the pot and serve.
