When you need holiday cookies quick --- this is the recipe to use --- as this bakes up fast. Tasty too.

1 Butter Cookie Dough
1/2 cup raspberry jam
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Divide dough into fourths. Rolling each between your hands on a lightly floured board, shape into ropes, about 1/2-inch thick. Place ropes on an ungreased baking sheet about 2-inches apart. With the side of your little finger, or a wooden spoon handle, press a long groove down each strand. Bake 10 minutes. Spoon jam or jelly into each groove. Bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until edges are lightly browned.
In a small bowl, beat together sugar and milk to make a glaze. Drizzle glaze over hot cookies. Cut logs diagonally into 1-inch slices. Makes about 96 cookies.
