Microwave Strawberry Jam

3 1/2 cups strawberries -- crushed
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
Clean and hull strawberries. Measure 3 1/2 cups strawberries. Crush strawberries. You should have about 2 cups crushed strawberries. Place in large mix-n-pour measuring cup. Add sugar and lemon juice. Let stand 30 minutes for juices to form.
Heat on HIGH in microwave oven for 10 to 13 minutes. Stir every 2 to 3 minutes. Place a tablespoon into a custard cup and refrigerate for 15 minutes to check consistency. Microwave on HIGH, and bring to a boil, and microwave 2 minutes more. Retest. Makes about 2 cups.
