Ham Steaks with Cherry Sauce

My kids, who are picky eaters, said mom "make this again!" and "can we have this for Christmas?" Need I say more...
List of Ingredients
1 package vanilla pudding mix -- 4 serving size, cook and serve type of sugar-free pudding mix
1 package gelatin powder with aspartame -- 4 serving size, cherry flavor
16 ounces sour cherries in water -- 2 cups, drain and reserve juice
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
18 ounces extra lean ham slices -- 6 slices cooked ham
In an 8-cup glass Mix-N-Pour bowl, combine dry pudding mix and dry gelatin. Add enough water to reserved cherry juice to make 3/4 cup. Add liquid to pudding mixture. Mix well to combine. Cover and microwave on High for 2 minutes. Gently stir in cherries and apple pie spice. Heat 2 minutes more. Keep warm until ready to serve.
On a large serving platter, microwave ham slices on High, covered, for 3 minutes or until heated through. Turn once during heating cycle.
Spoon 1/3 cup cherry sauce over each ham slice and serve.
