Yummy cooked in chicken broth and served with a dab of butter. All time comfort food!!
List of Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk, rich (top) milk if possible
- 1 cup flour
- Combine egg, salt, milk and enough flour to make a stiff dough. Roll out very thin on a floured surface. Let rest 20 minutes.
- Roll up like a jelly roll and then slice into thin noodles. Spread out and let dry 2 hours.
- Drop into boiling soup or boiling salted water. Cook 10 minutes.
- Makes 3 cups noodles.
