    Pumpkin Pan Rolls

    Recipe Introduction

    These are a real treat on the Thanksgiving table or with a hearty soup.

    List of Ingredients

    1 package yeast
    1 cup warm water -- 120 deg.
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons butter -- melted
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
    1 cup canned pumpkin
    1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
    3/4 teaspoon cloves
    3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    3/4 teaspoon ginger
    4 1/2 cups flour -- to 5 cups


    Dissolve yeast in bowl. Add next 9 ingredients and mix well. Add 3 cups flour and stir together well. Add the rest of the flour to make a soft dough that you can knead. Knead for 10 minutes or so and let rise for 1 hour til doubled. Punch down and divide into 32 pieces. Form into rolls. Place in 2 9" greased cake pans. Let rise til doubled and bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
