    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/4 c. butter
    2 cloves mashed garlic
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 lb. spinach or 2 10-oz. pckgs. frozen, chopped spinach
    1 tsp. salt
    dash pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. parmesan cheese, freshly grated


    Slice stems from mushrooms and set aside. Saute mushroom caps in a skillet with melted butter. Remove when golden brown and set aside. Saute mushroom stems with garlic and onion until onion is tender and golden.
    Cook spinach just until tender. Drain well.
    Line a shallow pan or casserole dish (10") with mixture of spinach, stems, garlic, onion and butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, oregano, basil and half the cheese.
    Arrange mushroom caps on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 about 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
