Favorite Meat Loaf
List of Ingredients
4 pounds lean ground beef
2 cans onion soup -- (10 1/2 oz)
1 package herb-seasoned stuffing cubes -- (8 oz)
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup ketchup
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
Heat oven to 350 F. Combine all meat loaf ingredients. Divide in thirds; shape each third into a loaf and place in a 9x13 baking dish. Bake 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours or until well browned. Pour off juice and top with the sauce.
Sauce: Mix well and pour over loaves. Bake 30 minutes longer. If there's any reserve, use it for sauce at the table or the next day when you make meat loaf sandwiches.
