Sister served this at a luncehon and everyone asked for the recipe. Must be that good cheese that made it so good.


List of Ingredients




SISTER MARY LOU'S MACARONI AND CHEESE

l Qt milk
6 T Butter
1/2 cup flour
Cook all these 2 minutes over medium heat, using a wisk.

Wisk in:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Cut 12 oz swiss gueiere cheese and 8 oz cheddar, grate together.
Add the cheeses into the sauce, decrease the heat and stir until creamy.

Pour into a large baking dish. Slice tomatoes and place on top of Mac and Cheese. Sprinkle home-made bread crumbs (or Italian crumbled bread) over top and bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
