Here is one of our favorite recipes. Everybody that tastes it likes it. This is the season of apples so I thought I would share it with you.
It may look like there are too many apples for the small amount of dough but don�t worry. The apples become smaller as it bakes.
List of Ingredients
Lovida�s Apple Pie Cake
� cup shortening or oleo
1 cup sugar
1 large egg or 2 small
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon (I like more)
1 teaspoon soda in 2 tablespoons hot water
1 cup flour
� cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Mix in 2 � cups diced apples. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Use a 9 inch round pan. Double the recipe for regular cake pan.
