    Turtle Cake

    This is absolutely delicious!!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 box German Chocolate cake mix
    • 14 oz bag of caramels
    • 3/4 C butter
    • 1/2 C milk
    • 1 C chocolate chips
    • 1 C chopped pecans


    1. Prepare cake using package directions.
    2. Pour half the batter into a greased and floured 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
    3. Melt caramels with butter and milk in saucepan, stirring constantly.
    4. Poke some holes (not a lot) into the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
    5. Pour caramels over cake. Top with chocolate chips and pecans. (Save a little of each to put on top of cake when completely done.)
    6. Pour remaining batter over top.
    7. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
    8. While cake is still hot pour reserved caramels, chocolate chips and pecans over top.
