    Bacon and Tomato Bread

    Recipe Introduction

    For a perfect BLT, start with this bread that has bacon and tomato already baked into it. WW Points
    Makes one 1-1/2-pound loaf (20 servings).

    1 cup water
    1/4 cup snipped dried tomatoes (oil-packed)
    1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking oil
    3 cups bread flour
    1/4 cup cooked bacon pieces
    1 tablespoon sugar
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
    1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast

    Add the ingredients to a 1-1/2- or 2-pound bread machine according to the manufacturer's directions. Select the basic white bread cycle and desired color setting.

    Note: The bread machine pan must have a capacity of 10 cups or more.

    One slice equals: 92 calories, 2 g total fat (1 g saturated fat), 1 mg cholesterol, 99 mg sodium, 16 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 3 g protein. ++++ WWP: 2
