Dressed-Up Applesauce - 2 - e-w
Great with pork or chicken
Yield about 2 cups
2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 c. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp rum extract
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/8 to 1/4 ground cloves
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, for 1 hour. Serve warm or refrigerate
