    List of Ingredients

    • 2 lbs. round steak, cut into serving sizes
    • 2 med. onions, sliced
    • 5 large potatoes, sliced
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1 can tomato soup


    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    2. Cook onions in hot shortening until tender but not brown. Remove onions and set aside.
    3. Season meat with salt and pepper, roll in flour. Brown meat in skillet. Place meat in 3 quart casserole. Top with onions, potatoes and bay leaf. Pour soup over the top. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes.
